New Coffee Stop at HSV
Located in the public area of the airport at 1000 Glenn Hearn Blvd SW, Comet Coffee officially welcomed guests on Tuesday, February 24. The shop provides a convenient place for passengers and airport staff to grab coffee, relax, and enjoy the view of the airfield.
Community Engagement with “Coffee with a Cop”
The grand opening coincided with the Port of Huntsville Police Department’s “Coffee with a Cop” event, giving visitors a chance to meet officers and learn about public safety careers.
Chief Chris Scott highlighted the unique public safety career model at the airport, where officers are cross-trained in police, fire, and EMS services, offering “one career, three professions, unlimited opportunity.”
