One more tavern from Good Company Cafe creators coming

Etta’s Tavern, a new dinner and bar concept from the creators of Good Company Cafe, is preparing to open on Pratt Avenue in Huntsville.

A new dinner spot from Good Company Cafe owners

Angela and John Lindbeck, who founded Good Company Cafe, are behind the new restaurant at 720 Pratt Ave. NE.

Etta’s Tavern will combine Southern comfort food with a full bar and a relaxed, elevated atmosphere. The concept is designed around familiar dishes, crafted drinks and the hospitality associated with the Lindbecks’ existing restaurant.

Appetizers offer a first look at the menu

Etta’s has previewed several appetizers ahead of opening, including housemade cornbread served with molasses butter and a batter made with Good Company’s hot sauce.

The menu will also feature a Conecuh sausage dog made with hush puppy batter and beer mustard, along with CroquEttas featuring fried bacon gravy, fresh tomato, arugula and hot sauce.

The restaurant plans to serve dinner and drinks, with hours listed as 4-9 p.m. on weekdays and 5-10 p.m. on weekends. Mondays will be closed.

Etta’s Tavern opens October 20

Etta’s Tavern is scheduled to officially open Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, at its Pratt Avenue location.

The new restaurant adds another dining option to Huntsville’s growing lineup, with a focus on Southern-inspired food, cocktails and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere.
