Mobile-based rock band Red Clay Strays is coming back to Huntsville’s Orion Amphitheater for a headline show on Sept. 11, 2027.
Red Clay Strays set to headline Orion
The Alabama group, known for songs including “Wondering Why” and “Wanna Be Loved,” previously performed at Orion in 2025. The upcoming concert will mark the band’s second appearance at the Huntsville venue.
St. Paul & The Broken Bones, the Birmingham-founded R&B group, will join the lineup as the supporting act.
The Red Clay Strays lineup features vocalist and guitarist Brandon Coleman, Drew Nix, Zach Rishel, Andrew Bishop and drummer John Hall.
Tickets go on sale October 9
Tickets for the Huntsville concert are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 9. Fans can purchase tickets online or through the Orion Amphitheater box office at 701 Amphitheater Drive NW.
Ticket pricing had not been announced as of the event announcement.
The band has Huntsville roots
Red Clay Strays first performed in Huntsville roughly nine years ago at Sidetracks Music Hall, a 350-capacity venue that has since closed.
The band’s popularity has grown significantly since those early local shows. The Mobile group has built a large following across streaming and social media while continuing to tour throughout the region.
The 2027 Orion concert will give Huntsville fans another chance to see the Alabama rock group on one of the city’s largest outdoor stages.
