Tag Renewal

No more waiting in line for Madison tag renewals

Renewing a vehicle tag just became more convenient for Madison County residents.

According to online reports, the county has expanded its self-service kiosk program, allowing drivers to renew their vehicle registrations in minutes without waiting in line at a service counter.

Four kiosk locations now available across Madison County

Madison County recently installed its fourth tag renewal kiosk at the Monrovia Community Center, giving residents another convenient option for completing their vehicle registration.

The kiosks allow users to scan their renewal notice, pay the required registration fee, and immediately receive their new vehicle tag and receipt during each location’s normal operating hours. As a result, residents can avoid mail delays and reduce the time spent waiting at county service centers.

Schedules and Availabilities

The kiosks are currently available at the Madison County Service Center, located at 1918 North Memorial Parkway in Huntsville, where they are accessible Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Residents can also use the kiosk at the District One Office, located at 9457 Moores Mill Road in New Market, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Another kiosk is available at the District Three East Office, located at 4299 U.S. Highway 72 in Brownsboro, with hours from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Meanwhile, the newest kiosk is located at the Monrovia Community Center, 254 Allen Drake Drive.

According to online reports, it is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

More kiosks planned for the future

County officials plan to continue expanding the program. A new self-service kiosk is expected to open soon at the Madison Crossroads Community Center, and additional county locations could receive kiosks in the future.

The expanded network is designed to give residents more flexibility when renewing their vehicle tags while making county services faster and easier to access throughout Madison County.
