Luxury Downtown Huntsville project launches leasing

Leasing has officially opened for one of Huntsville’s largest residential developments as the city’s downtown growth continues, according to online reports.

Leasing Begins at Front Row in Downtown Huntsville

The Residences at Front Row has started residential leasing and opened on-site tours for prospective residents. The first move-ins are scheduled to begin July 1 at 2 Front Row, located across from the Von Braun Center along Clinton Avenue.

The larger Front Row development sits at the corner of Clinton Avenue and Monroe Street and carries an estimated value of $375 million. Developers expect completion of the second residential building, 1 Front Row, next year.

Interested renters, including those with priority access, can schedule private tours through the leasing office and project channels. Virtual tours are also expected to launch soon.

Luxury Residences and Amenities Take Shape

The project will bring 545 luxury residences across two buildings in downtown Huntsville. In addition, developers plan a wide range of amenities designed to create a full residential experience.

Planned features include rooftop dining spaces, a maker space, dedicated co-working areas, dual pool decks, and a sports simulator. The development will also include The Plaza at Front Row, an outdoor green and retail space intended to connect both buildings and activate the surrounding streetscape.

Developers say the project aligns with broader downtown development goals and supports continued growth in the city center.

Future Expansion Plans Remain in Development

Front Row is a partnership involving Essex Capital, Ascend Property Group, affiliates of Silverstein Properties, and Cantor Fitzgerald.

Project leaders said future phases remain under review. However, discussions have included attracting office tenants, expanding retail offerings, and potentially adding a hotel component. Therefore, Front Row could continue growing beyond its current residential footprint.
