A highly anticipated Chick-fil-A restaurant is set to open in early 2026 as part of the Trailhead development, marking an exciting addition to Huntsville’s growing dining and retail scene.
Prime Location in Trailhead
The new Chick-fil-A Trailhead will be located at the busy intersection of Highway 72 East and Moores Mill Road, within the mixed-use Trailhead community at the base of Chapman Mountain. This modern development blends retail, dining, and residential neighborhoods to create a convenient live-work-play environment for residents and visitors. Chick-fil-A Trailhead will be one of the first dining options to open in the new community.
A Legacy of Service and Community
Chick-fil-A has a long history of combining quality food with customer care. The first restaurant opened in Atlanta in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy, and the company has since grown into a family-led business known for warm, personable service. Today, the Cathy family continues to guide the company, with Andrew Cathy serving as CEO. Chick-fil-A restaurants also focus on community impact through programs like Chick-fil-A Shared Table®, donating surplus food to local shelters and nonprofits, and supporting local hunger relief with donations each time a new location opens.
Hiring and Next Steps
While an official opening date has not been announced, Chick-fil-A Trailhead is already hiring team members. Interested applicants can apply by texting “CFATRAIL” to 31063.
