The rankings were based on academic rigor, student life data, standardized test scores, college enrollment, and feedback from millions of Niche users. The analysis also considered factors such as math and science AP enrollment, student-teacher ratios, and STEM-focused college readiness.
Huntsville’s Standouts
Among the top 10 STEM high schools in Alabama:
Alabama School of Cyber Technology & Engineering (ASCTE) – Huntsville
Randolph School – Huntsville
New Century Technology High School – Huntsville
Other local schools in the top 25 include James Clemens High School (#14), Bob Jones High School (#19), Westminster Christian Academy (#21), and St. John Paul II Catholic High School (#23).
