Annual Halloween party and haunted house returns

The City of Huntsville is bringing back a beloved fall tradition with the fourth annual Halloween Party and Haunted House on Saturday, October 18.

Event Details

The free, family-friendly event runs from 3-8 p.m. at the Jaycee Building at John Hunt Park, 2200 Jaycee Way, and is open to all ages. Attendees can enjoy trick-or-treating, bounce houses, carnival games, family entertainment, food trucks, and a Haunted House opening at 5 p.m.

Community Engagement

HPD Chief Kirk Giles highlighted the importance of the event in building community connections. “Our officers look forward to greeting kids, handing out candy and creating a safe and fun environment for families,” he said.

Growing Tradition

Parks and Recreation Director James Gossett said the Halloween Party has become one of Huntsville’s most anticipated annual events. Local vendors and nonprofit organizations will also be on site with candy booths, and costumes are encouraged but not required.
