This innovative, non-profit, membership-based workspace provides affordable access to tools, equipment, and expertise for creators of all skill levels. Whether you’re an artist, artisan, hobbyist, tinkerer, entrepreneur, or DIY enthusiast, The Shop is here to support your creative journey.

 

What The Shop Offers

Members gain access to an impressive array of professional tools, including 3D printers, a laser cutter, a soldering station, and wood and metalworking equipment. By fostering a collaborative environment, The Shop empowers members to innovate, learn, and bring their ideas to life.

 

Beyond individual projects, The Shop aims to uplift the community through scholarship programs and mentorship opportunities, especially for underserved youth. This mission ensures that everyone, regardless of background, can thrive as a maker.

 

The Team Behind The Shop

 

The Shop’s leadership team brings diverse expertise and a shared passion for fostering creativity. From woodworking enthusiasts like Board President Phil Kern and Shop Foreman John Buckman to technology specialists such as CIO Lee Altschuler, the team is united in supporting makers.

 

Vice President Frank Davies contributes decades of experience in printing and mentoring, while Treasurer Jonathan Arcocha applies his automotive engineering and military background to community growth.

 

Board members Patrick Nash and Eric Pitkus add entrepreneurial and aviation expertise, ensuring a strong foundation for The Shop’s mission to empower creators.
