Ohio-based Total Quality Logistics (TQL), the second-largest freight brokerage in North America, is reported to be opening a new office in Huntsville, creating 100 job opportunities.
The new office will be located in Bradford Office Park within Cummings Research Park. TQL, which first established operations in Alabama by opening a Mobile office in 2014 and expanding to Birmingham in 2016, has been recognized nine times as one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Alabama.” While the exact opening date for the Huntsville office is yet to be announced, those interested can apply now.
Alabama Commerce Secretary Ellen McNair highlighted the state’s robust logistics infrastructure, stating that the expansion underscores Alabama’s readiness to support global growth projects and adapt to technological advancements in logistics. McNair added, “This expansion will not only boost Huntsville’s economy but will also elevate Alabama’s reputation as a leader in attracting forward-thinking industries.”
TQL President Kerry Byrne expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, citing Huntsville’s accessibility and skilled workforce as key factors in their decision. “We’re excited to grow our team and strengthen our presence in Alabama through the dynamic Huntsville community,” Byrne said.”
