A new gathering space is preparing to open in downtown Huntsville. According to information shared on its website, Host will transform a renovated historic building into a destination for chef dinners, live music, workshops, cocktail experiences, and community events.
Historic downtown building reimagined for experiences
Host is located at 101 Washington Street in the heart of downtown Huntsville. The newly restored two-story venue blends historic architecture with modern design, creating flexible spaces for both intimate gatherings and larger community events.
The venue is designed to host a variety of experiences throughout the year, including wine tastings, chef-led dinners, celebrations, educational workshops, and live entertainment. Rather than operating as a traditional event venue, Host plans to offer a constantly changing calendar of public events that encourage people to gather, learn, and connect.
Monthly experiences already planned
Host has already announced an extensive lineup of recurring events beginning later this year. Visitors can attend the Artemis Songwriter Series, featuring live performances from local and regional musicians, as well as All Shook Up cocktail classes and cocktail omakase experiences.
The venue will also host the Southern Wagyu Chef Series, where guests can enjoy chef-prepared dinners, along with The Garden Society by Noëlla’s Flowers, offering floral workshops and seasonal experiences.
Additional recurring events include beauty workshops led by Hollie Beaver Beauty, seasonal celebrations, and a variety of specialty experiences throughout the fall and winter.
Showcasing Huntsville’s local makers
Host will collaborate with a variety of Huntsville-area businesses, creators, and event professionals. The venue’s growing network includes caterers, artists, florists, photographers, wellness coaches, and other local makers who will help create many of the experiences offered throughout the year.
With its focus on community gatherings, hands-on workshops, dining experiences, and live entertainment, Host is adding a unique concept to downtown Huntsville.
The venue aims to become a place where residents and visitors can discover something new while supporting local businesses and creative talent.
