A new family-focused destination is coming to North Alabama, as Gather & Grow Play Café prepares to open in Athens, Alabama, according to online reports.

Gather & Grow Play Café will open at 15340 Flinders Ln in Athens, Alabama, located at The Shoppes at Piney Creek. The space sits near Highway 72 and offers easy access from I-65.
In addition, the café will combine a family play area with a welcoming café environment. The goal is to create a space where families can gather, connect, and spend time together in a calm setting.
The 5,000-square-foot facility is planned as a thoughtfully designed indoor space for children and parents alike.

The café will include a variety of play and learning spaces for children of different ages. Plans feature a European-inspired imaginative play village and a custom-built treehouse designed for movement and activity.
Furthermore, the space will include a Montessori-style baby area for younger children. A sensory room will also offer a quiet space for relaxation and regulation.
In addition, families will find a private nursing mothers’ room for comfort and privacy. These features aim to support a wide range of family needs in one location.
Parties, Events, and What to Expect
Gather & Grow Play Café will also offer two private party rooms for birthdays and special celebrations. These spaces will allow families to host events in a dedicated and flexible environment.
